Vintage Garage Chicago, a monthly flea market in the Uptown area of Chicago will once again kick off the season with a vintage style ride. The idea comes from the tweed rides which originated in England. Of course the more restrictive you make the clothing, the less inclined some might be to participate.
Promoters say vintage can mean just about anything and says just be yourself, be unique and get into the spirit by dressing up a little.
Cyclists will gather at 11:15 on April 27th at the Garage at Foster and Broadway for a ride with Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward. Osterman will highlight bicycle infrastructure improvements in the area.
