The actor who played Radio Raheem in Spike Lee’s 1989 classic Do the Right Thing has died. The 6’3 Bill Nunn died in his hometown of Pittsburgh. In the movie, Nunn wore brass knuckles on each hand with the words LOVE and HATE as he told the story of right hand, left hand and “Fight the Power” provided a background chorus. His character died in a chokehold at the end of the movie.
Radio Raheem, Peace.
